What began as a modest institution with no facilities, only 20 pioneering students, and a handful of dedicated teachers has grown into a thriving centre of academic excellence and character development.

In its early years, the school operated within the premises of Langata Barracks Primary School, where it was domiciled for two years as it laid the foundation for its future growth. Despite the constraints, the passion and resilience of the founding team shaped the school’s identity—one rooted in discipline, innovation, and service.
Today, Langata Barracks Secondary School proudly serves a vibrant and diverse population of 322 students, nurtured by a committed team of 20 qualified teachers and supported by 11 non-teaching staff who ensure smooth daily operations.
